Born from two heritages. Founded in 2005 by Almudena Espinosa — daughter of a Spanish father and Colombian mother — Guanabana was built to share the extraordinary skill of Colombian artisans with the world.

Every piece is designed in Madrid and handwoven using ancestral Wayuu and pre-Columbian techniques, by a community of over 600 artisans, mostly women, across Colombia. Look at the base of any bag — the maker's signature is there, and no two are ever quite alike.
