It started with a photograph. Martin Usborne, a photographer wandering the streets of Hoxton, struck up a friendship with an elderly local resident — the small book that followed sold out in weeks, and a publishing house was born almost by accident.

Hoxton Mini Press makes small, beautifully made photography, art and lifestyle books — including the Opinionated Guides series, pocket-sized city guides with real edge and real warmth. Every book is printed carbon neutral, with a tree planted for each order.

Small team, small books, big intention — proof that print was never actually dead.
